While most staff members will not use the “transfer a call” features, a small number of users, particularly in our office settings, will need these features on a regular basis throughout the day each day.

Transfer a call to another extension

  • While you are on the call that you want to transfer, press the physical “Transfer” button.
  • Dial the four-digit extension of the number to which you are transferring the call.
  • Then, either announce the call and press the physical “Transfer” button or simply press the physical “Transfer” button in order to complete the transfer.

 

Transfer a call to another’s mailbox

  • While you are on the call that you want to transfer, press the physical “Transfer” button and immediately dial “1-0-0-0” and then enter the mailbox number itself.
  • Hang up after entering the mailbox number.

 

Transfer a call to a classroom during the school day

  • While on the phone with the caller, press the physical “Transfer” button in the lower right corner of the phone.
  • Dial the extension of the classroom.
  • When the teacher answers, you can tell the teacher that you have a call to transfer in to the classroom.
  • After talking to the teacher, simply hang up the phone to complete the transfer.
